Similar to video recording, audio recording helps to record audio from the speaker and the microphone, and save it in an audio file. Audio recording is helpful for recording conference calls, meetings, vocal, and music. Along with the audio, a screenshot can be taken to provide visual context to the audio. For example, if the meeting audio is recorded, it can have scheduled meeting information along with the participants' details as a screenshot. This helps to easily find audio.

Audio recording can be started similar to video from the capture menu. When started, it will display the Audio Recorder panel, shown below:

High-Quality and Lossless recordings take a lot of disk space compared to others. Typically, Music and Voice is recorded with high quality. Conference calls and meetings can be recorded with Medium to Low quality to conserve disk space.

Once the audio recording is done, it is opened in a separate tab with a play button. Please review the audio recording tutorial for a better understanding. Audio files can be uploaded to cloud providers similar to video files.

Browsing and searching video and audio files is similar to image files.
